Cape Cod Foundation

Committed. Strategic. Community-centered. These are some of the words that come to mind when thinking of The Cape Cod Foundation.

HPC has worked with the Foundation for decades, and their support has had a meaningful impact on our work. From HPC’s core personalized case management services to the annual Adopt-A-Family and Backpack to School programs, and targeted relief during the pandemic to strategic support for new initiatives, the Foundation’s support has touched so many facets of the organization.

“The Homeless Prevention Council has been a strong partner with The Cape Cod Foundation, particularly during the pandemic. With resources from The Foundation’s Strategic Emergency Response Fund, they continued to provide vital housing support services to individuals and families on the Lower Cape during a time of extreme need,” said President and CEO Kristin O’Malley. “HPC also is one of the recipients from our 2023 Targeted Capacity-Building Grant Program and part of our current cohort of nonprofit leaders. We are very pleased to support their initiative to upgrade their technology to enhance client support services and overall organizational efficiencies.”

Along with their own grants, the Foundation manages individual and town funds.

Because of their familiarity with the interests of their individual donors, they’ve been able to connect HPC with new supporters.

These connections have led to lasting relationships. Support through two of the Town Funds – Chatham and Harwich – has helped HPC deepen our impact on residents in need within these communities.

“Whether it be support for an existing HPC program or an investment in something new, The Cape Cod Foundation has always been there to provide HPC with guidance, resources and connections,” said HPC CEO Hadley Luddy. “We value their partnership and thank them for their investment in our work.”
