Melissa Oomer is a consultant and coach to the nonprofit and social service sector. She has over 15 years of experience advising foundations, corporations, nonprofits, and collaboratives on many issues.

Melissa has worked on various issues related to community health in Massachusetts including early childhood education and care, behavioral health, healthy aging, and economic empowerment. Melissa grew up in Plymouth and spent much of her adult life living in South Boston with her husband Imran. She also lived and worked in both Barcelona, Spain and Mumbai India. She and her family moved to Brewster in 2020. Her daughter attends Stony Brook and her son attends Eddy. Melissa and her family enjoy Brewster’s bayside beaches all year round and biking on the rail trail in the summer.
